Summary
Street scenes, individual buildings (such as buisiness buildings, government buildings, hotels, churches and some residences) harbor views, and vistas of primarily lower and mid-Manhattan (principally areas south of 70th St.) but including some views of Brooklyn in vol. 2 and of the 110th St. elevated train. Interesting series include St. Patrick's Cathedral under construction, shipbuilding, the "Five Points" section, Printing House Square, the 1883 Decoration Day parade down Broadway, and City Hall.
