  • Stones destroyed after printing.
  • 25 copies printed by Robert Blackburn on white wove pure linen rag paper, handmade by Douglass Howell. There were also 5 artist's proof copies.
  • First print is t.p.; remaining prints numbered consecutively in pencil 1-12 following edition number.
  • Accompanied by letterpress colophon, printed by Herbert Matter, which reads in part: "Stones: tabloscript lithography. Larry Rivers, drawing; Frank O'Hara, poetry ... [Tabloscript:] where the artist and the poet inspired by the same theme, draw and write on the same surface at the same time, fusing both arts to an inseparable unity."
