  • Consists of t.p., contents and colophon, on 2 bifolia of Italia paper; Rauschenberg's "preface" on bifolium of German copperplate paper, in brown paper portfolio; and 17 poems on 33 sheets (1 to 6 sheets each) of various papers and other materials, each poem in Mylar portfolio.
  • Papers on which poems are printed: Italia (7 sheets), Chatham (2 sheets), Mohawk Superfine (2 sheets), Mead Mark I Cover (3 sheets and a strip) and 1 sheet each of Shogun, black Fabriano and gray Studio Bristol. Other materials: aluminum (2 sheets), acetate (3 sheets) and Plexiglas (10 sheets). Eleven are printed letterpress (4 in blind) on paper, aluminum and acetate; 2 are lithographs on paper (1 stone each); 2 are lithographs on Plexiglas (4 and 6 stones); 1 is printed letterpress on paper with lithographic print superimposed; one is etching on black paper. "Each poem was conceived for the medium in which it was expressed"--Contents. Letterpress printed by Christopher Pullmann, lithographs by Fred Genis, etching by Donn Steward. Plates cancelled after printing.
  • Issued unbound, in brown laid laminated Oriental paper covers by Carolyn Horton, in aluminum box by Louis Liebl, Jr.
