Includes scores and parts copied by Schumer himself and by 19th century professional copyists, and Schumer's performance notes. Composers represented by more than 10 items include: Bellini, Donizetti, Gounod, Massenet, Puccini, Rossini, Johann Strauss, and Verdi. Many items had also been cataloged separately in earlier years.
