Some views also titled Northern Pacific Scenery or have other references to the Northern Pacific Railroad for which Haynes was the official photographer. Haynes photographed in the park from 1881-1916. His main studio moved from Fargo to St. Paul in 1889, and the views in this collection date from before the move to St. Paul.
