  • Stereoscopic views along the Central and Union Pacific Railroads: railroad cuts, bridges, trestles, tunnels and tracks: Bloomer Cut with one view showing train in cut, tracks east of Auburn, Secret Town Trestle, new cut above Alta train car in the cut and ties by the side of the tracks, American River from Green Bluffs, with train in foreground and from Cape Horn, Cape Horn from below, snow sheds near Cisco and in Emigrant Gap, and Emigrant Gap Ridge, man in interior of snow shed around Crested Peak, tunnels 10 & 12, including view of men building stone wall outside tunnel 10, tracks and cut at Eagle Gap, tracks along the Truckee, at Red Bluffs and in the lower canyon of the Truckee, bridges over the Truckee, and men working moving rocks below Truckee station, views in Pleasant and Green Valleys, first construction train passing the Palisades in Ten Mile Canyon and another train dwarfed by Palisades, and view of the Humboldt River from top of Palisades, men working on eastern portal of Summit Tunnel; hydraulic mining; interior view of the Selby lead and Silver smelting work, San Francisco, showing Chinese man pouring molten metal into forms for ingots; Shoshonean Indians in Ten Mile Canyon; studio portrait of Paiute Indians.
