Summary
Views of the Lower Hudson Valley including Dutchess, Orange, Putnam and Rockland counties, Bellvale, Catskill, Clarkstown, Cornwall, Cold Spring, Fishkill-on-Hudson, Fulton, Garrison, Goshen, Highland Falls, Hilburne, Matteawan, Middletown, Nyack, Pleasant Valley, Red Hook, Salisbury-on-the-Hudson, Southfield, Tuby Hook, Unionville, Walden, Warwick, Greenwood Lake, and views of the river including the entrance to the Highlands and various mountains along the river; views of homes including Idlewild, home of Nathaniel Parker Willis, and Woodenethe, home of H.W. Sargeant, a view of the river from "Peabody House," farms, groups, bridges, churches, hotels, mills, a foundry and wheelworks, quarry, waterfalls, rock formations, cemeteries, a memorial floral arrangement in the form of a clock with "The Hour Has Come" also in flowers, a parade, a steam shovel, cityscapes, a lawn tennis game, a ship in drydock with town beyond, and portions of the Hudson River Railroad. Also includes a view of ice in the Delaware River at Port Jervis, Orange County.
