Views in rural and suburban Philadelphia: men and girls on the porch of the Bryn Mawr Hotel; mill dam, Frankford Creek, in the snow; Mr. Garsen's(?) house, Frankford; Germantown: homes, including one with large glass conservatory in back, stone houses with low pitched roofs, entry gates, coach near stone buildings, the Unitarian Church, Roberts' Mill, a grape arbor; railroad bridge over Germantown road; Falls Station Brige to Richmond showing train junction, bridge, buildings; bridge on the Schuylkill Canal above Manayunk; public bath house on the river at Richmond, boys on log boom in foreground; boys swimming at Smith's Island; unidentified church; rural homes, some made of stone or brick some with gingerbreading on eaves, some with families on porches, in hammock; horse and cart in front yard, stone barn, lumber or fenceposts; man with rake "Rural gardening"; Silver Brook, Schuylkill River, running under stone arch (bridge or canal?); Pennypack Creek.
