- Views of Johnstown taken after the flood of May 31, 1889: general views, the river, the broken dam, views of wreckage filled streets, trees, lumber, logs and debris, wrecked railroad cars, stone railroad bridge with debris piles behind it, the Millville school house used a morgue, house on its side with tree through the window, tents, a safe in the middle of a street, soldier standing guard near destroyed buildings, men sitting in a shack, men lying among debris (posing as if dead?), men searching for bodies, one view showing body on stretcher being removed.
