Views along the Pennsylvania Railroad: railroad views including bridges, grades, cuts, track, and views of communities and scenery along the railroad including Altoona, above Altoona looking across Kittaning Point, Lewistown and the Pennsylvania Canal, Rockwell's station and the canal, the Deep Cut near Carpenter's Station, Cresson Mountain House, Broad Top Mountain House, creeks, springs, ruins of an old forge, John Harris's grave, Braddock's Field on the Monongahela and the Westmoreland Coal Co., Spring Hill, the Susquehannah Bridge from above, the suspension bridge at Pittsburgh and a view from the wood car of the engineer and stoker in an engine heading down the grade. Some views duplicated.
