Views along the Columbia River: Rooster Rock, Cape Horn, Multnomah Falls, Castle Rock, Lookout Mountain, building in the foregound, islands in the river from the Upper Cascades, Mt. Hood: from Sunset Hill, from the head of The Dalles; the rapids of The Dalles, "Tum Water," Indian camp, head of The Dalles; Dalles City including the works of the Oregon Steam Navigation Company; views along the Oregon Railroad: "moonlight" from the railroad, Tooth bridge; "Garrison," Castle Rock beyond, Middle Blockhouse [and a view from the it; "foggy morning": farm, split rail fence with clouds above; goats on bank, river beyond.
