- Views in the lumber camps and pine forest of Lapeer, Midland and Tuscola Counties, Michigan: camp scenes, including men outside a log building with mud and stick chimney, holding saws, axes, one man in tophat; man sharpening saw, men sharpening axes on a whet stone, woman by building; man with a peavy, horse and sleighs beyond, blacksmith shoeing horse; boy crossing bridge with sled, man getting water from frozen creek; blacksmith building sled for hauling logs; cook, woman, child outside log haouse thatched with pine boughs, man calling loggers to meal; men falling tree; sawing; butting; skidding using oxen; men and oxen loading logs onto large sled, hauling; dam for flooding logs, banking grounds, rollway on the Cass River, high banking. Some views duplicated.
