Commericial, office and industrial buildings in Boston: the "old feather store" on Dock square, built in 1680 and the location where the tea plot was formed in 1773, views showing clothing business, goods hanging outside, wagon traffic, Quincy Market beyond; Abram French & Co., crockery and china store, wares visible through windows in curved facade; Sears building, ticket agent in lower corner of building; C.F. Hovey and Co., showing building decorated and interior view showing salesmen among counters piled with fabric, dress on form in foreground; Foster, Weeks & Co. grocery, showing men with boxes out front; State St. Block at the harbor, showing wagons, sailing vessels at dock; Beebe's (or Beebe-Weld) Block: Scollay's building with signs for a wide wariety of businesses; the Cathedral building; the [Brown] building with stove stores in it, showing portrait of man, bunting hanging from the building; Geo. A. Plummer Dry goods store showing men in front, goods visible; Whipple's, on the corner of Washington and Temple, apple woman on the corner; interior view of the Oriental Tea Co., showing long counters, scales, cabinet decorated with dragons; the Boston Herald building, including interior views of the composing room, the stereotype room, and the basement, showing equipment and employees; "Echo chimney" in the Boston Highlands.
