Views of Charlestown, before it became part of Boston: includes views of the city hall, fountain in front, surrounding buildings, one view with festive decoration, June 17, 1875; Sailors' and Soldiers' Monument by Martin Milmore; Warrenty House, storeforonts at street level; trolley going through triumphal arch, June 17, 1875, Bunker Hill Centennial; Massachusetts State prison: chain shop showing furnaces and finished chain, the spring bed shop; Bunker Hill Monument: views looking up at the mounment, some views showing streets leading to it, general views showing surrounding buildings and homes, harbor beyond, a distant view with carriage in foreground; one view with tent at the base, possibly for centennial celebrations.
