Grant's visit (Aug. 1874), group on the porch of Bishop Haven's, including Grant; Dr. H.A. Tucker's cottage, Mr. Lander's Sprague cottage, Clark's, Blood's, Mason's house, group outside of a cottage, one in a hammock; Sea View House, one view showing piles of lumber in foreground, Wesley House, with sign for ice cream, store with merchandise next door, Pawnee House, Vineyard Grove House with staff out front, Island House and view from Island House; beach views, boys swimming; Pavilion at Oak Bluffs, Pagoda on the plank walk; Speaker's stand with benches, one with speaker at lectern, wedding held at the speaker's stand, organist in foreground, Tabernacle, shown with tent covering benches, Union Chapel; Oak Bluffs Landing, showing ticket office, train meeting the steamboat, crowd on the pier boarding the "Monohassett"; croquet game in progress under trees; Gay Head Cliffs and lighthouse; an office; a commerical street with a surrey; large, houses with ornate gingerbread trim at Cottage City, one with a windmill. Also includes views of boats and beaches at Cuttyhunk and Naushon Islands.
