Views after the Chicago fire: general views of destruction; fruined buildings, rubble, shells of churches, the post office, gutted but whole, burnt piers, the Tribune building and the Second Presbyterian Church, before and after, some buildings have only cast iron fronts remaining; some buildings, including the Central Pacific Land Company and Co. Wood's museum have signs directing people to new locations; the Second Presbyterian Church has signs for a clothing company on it after the fire.
