- Local note
- The Schomburg Center's Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Book Division's copy is probably one of the books added to the collection when Catherine A. Latimer was the collection librarian, and Lawrence Reddick was the Curator. It includes NYPL's bookplate of "Arthur A. Schomburg Negro Collection," which lacks the NYPL perforated stamp and any other stamp but contains some early processing markings of the original Schomburg Collection. Bound or rebound in brown cloth over board library binding with additional blank pages at the back; and gilt spine.
