Local note
  1. The Schomburg Center's Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Book Division's copy is one of the items added to the collection (August 10, 1931 -- G.K. Halls) during Catherine A. Latimer, were the collection librarian & Curator. Imperfect: disbound, lacks the NYPL's bookplate of "Arthur A. Schomburg Negro Collection," that's associated with books from that period, treated, each leaves encapsulated or reinforced with Japanese tissue paper, rebound in blue cloth over boards library binding, and gilt spine.
  2. Also available on microfilm, Schomburg Center's researchers restricted to the microform copy in Sc Micro R-803 [pt. 2].
