Local Note
The Schomburg Center Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Book Division's copy includes accession no. G150079 written in ink on page [iii], and manuscript notation in graphite: "Famous early attacked on slavery- Pyne lost his passionate for delivering [..]" on the cover page. It's a gift, probably added to the collection during the period when Catherine A. Latimer was the collection librarian, and Lawrence Reddick was the Curator. Imperfect: water stains, tape spine repair, and minor creases on the bottom of the cover and title page.
