Summary
Robert Lipsyte talks with Drs. Freeman and McCord about their study comparing the mortality rates of African Americans in Harlem with that of the people in Bangladesh. Joel Dreyfuss reports on conditions in Harlem and the current problems faced by black Americans. In the final segment, Lipsyte talks with five young black men from the Manhattan Valley Youth Program about the study, problems they face today, and solutions.
