Sponsors are WLIB (disaster relief--Ghana), WDAS (Black English, prize contests, basketball; features Tony Brown, Maurice Brown, Steve Collins), Pro-Line Corporation (Harriet Tubman; features Lena Horne), Soft Sheen Products, American Health and Beauty Aids Institute (interpersonal relations), Anheuser-Busch (Africa--Kings and rulers; features Lou Rawls), U.S. Army (athletes, Olympics), WBBM (Harold Washington, Martin Luther King Jr.), WAOK (politicians, Martin Luther King Jr., Nicaragua; features Tracy Gray, Julian Bond and James Orange), M&M Products (Madam C.J. Walker), WRKS (Adam Clayton Powell Jr.; features Bob Slade, American Cancer Society (cancer; features Bob Slade, Dr. Harold Freeman), and National Black Network and Unity Broadcasting Network (Ed Castleberry interviews Jayne Kennedy, the Commodores, Marla Gibbs, Johnny Mathis, and Isaac Hayes).
