Summary
Photographs of various activities involving Daisy George primarily as the representative of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Clubs (NANBPWC) to the United Nations Non Governmental Organizations. Collection includes images of dinner dances, receptions, seminars, conferences, briefings, awards presentations and tours of several African countries (Senegal, The Gambia, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Malawi) visiting African women entreprenuers. One photograph album is devoted to the United Nations Work for Women Forum, 1985 in Nairobi, Kenya. In some instances individuals are identified, these include President Kamuzu Banda of Malawi, Alex Haley, Coretta Scott King, Bella Abzug, Angela Davis, John Lindsay, Jake T.X. Muwamba, Mary Singletary and Andrew Young.
