Summary

Views of stage and film actor Frederick O'Neal approximately dated between 1945 and 1989. Besides many individual portraits (publicity stills), O'Neal is seen in group portraits broadcasting radio dramas, in motion picture stills from the film Pinky, speaking at public events, dining out, with other actors during a Negro Actors Guild dance, shaking hands with President Lyndon Johnson and standing next to a bust of Paul Robeson at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. Individuals identified in group portraits are Phil Moore, Jeanne Crain, Lloyd E. Dickens, William L. Pfeiffer, Charles Gordon, Alberta Pryme, Claude Hopkins, Evelyn Davis, Phillip Dakin, Charlotte O'Neal, Hilda Simms, Willitta Payne and Reverend W.S. Mills. Half, three-quarter and full-length views are available.
