Summary

Portraits and views of jazz musician, singer and bandleader Cab Calloway from 1930 to the 1970s, consisting of individual portraits of Calloway, mostly studio portraits used for publicity purposes; candid shots and views of Calloway performing or during recording sessions; and group portraits showing Calloway with others at events and gatherings. Calloway is depicted performing at the Cotton Club, the Apollo Theater, Regine's, and other theaters. Among those depicted with Calloway include Bill Robinson, Bobbi Humphrey, Donald Byrd, Dupree White, William Toles, and Nuffie Calloway.
