Summary

Portraits of musician and singer Ray Charles ranging from the 1950s to the 1980s. Several views are of Charles singing in concert, one with Gladys Knight and the Pips. Charles is also seen recording "Porgy and Bess" with Cleo Laine. Offstage, Charles is in several group portraits with Richard Nixon, coauthor David Ritz and an unidentified group of people. Quarter and half-length views are included.
