Summary
  1. Views of surgeon, pioneer in blood plasma preservation and teacher Dr. Charles R. Drew ranging from the late 1920's to the late 1940's. Views include half and full-length studio portraits, and a painted portrait; also group portraits of Drew with Howard University Medical Students on rounds in a hospital and treating "patients" with U.S. Medical Corps Officers during mock air raid disaster. Collection also has group portrait of Drew seated with unidentified woman. A quarter-length portrait of Drew can be found in Portraits -- Oversize.
