Summary
  1. Portraits of orator, author and abolitionist Frederick Douglass. Collection includes many individual portraits and photographs of prints and drawings of Douglass. There is one print of his wife, Anna Murray Douglass as well as a view of great-grandson Frederick Douglass III. There are sketches of Douglass as District Marshall in his Washington D.C. office, and of his "North Star" office. Views of his home, grave, statues, spoons, as well as of title pages of My Bondage and My Freedom, Narrative of the Life..., "The Fugitive's Song," prospectus for "North Star," and advertisements for speeches are also included. Quarter, half and full length views are available.
