Summary

Portraits of librarian and bibliotherapist Sadie P. Delaney, during the late 1940s to 1950s. Collection consists of a quarter-length studio portrait; and half to full length portraits of Delaney in various views including sitting at her desk, reading books, viewing a library display case, with a cake honoring her 30 years of service as founder and Chief Librarian of the Veterans Administration Hospital Library, Tuskegee, Alabama (1954), and wearing a cap and gown for a commencement ceremony at Atlanta University when she received an honorary degree as Doctor of Humanities (1950).
