Summary

Portraits of singer, composer and guitarist Elizabeth Cotten, mostly of her as an elderly woman. Many of the views are of Cotten being honored with her granddaughter Johnine Rankin, Howard Dodson, Celeste Holm, Louise Nevelson, Jean Doughtery and Tarky Lombardi. There are several shots of Cotten playing her guitar, a couple taken when she was younger, one when she appeared on Austin City Limits with John McEuen and friends. Quarter, half and full-length portraits are included.
