- Biography
- Richard Rohman, born in 1900, was a newspaper man and press agent turned playwright. His plays include "City Called Heaven", "Madam Folly", "Power of the Press" and "Tell My Story". He produced the original production of "Pins and Needles" in 1937, using professional actors, before it was produced by the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union (ILGWU) for an extended run. Of particular note is a letter written by Rohman to correct errors in a published history of the original production of Pins and Needles.
