- Martha Lambert visits the Dance Theatre of Harlem where she interviews 15 year old apprentice dancer Melanie Percy, instructor and co-founder, Karel Shook, and co-founder and director, Arthur Mitchell. Shook explains what it takes to be a good instructor and provides some background on the apprentice program. Arthur Mitchell explains how dance training can affect the total person. Includes scenes of class rehearsals.
