  1. This program is composed of nine segments aired during the WNBC-TV Newscenter 4 evening news broadcast. The subject - the Nation of Islam and the changes brought about by its second leader, Wallace D. Muhammad who replaced his father Elijah Muhammad as leader in 1975. Topics covered : the history of the movement; the lessening of restrictions on daily life and increased community involvement; a visit with a three generation Muslim family in Harlem; a visit inside a mosque during prayer; increased membership among prisoners and whites; its changing views toward women; and the participation of Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali in the Nation of Islam.
