Summary
Profiles four black Chicago residents. First, Joseph Holmes, dancer and head of the Joseph Holmes Dance Theatre which performs dances that reflect the Afro-Amrican experience. Second, Daisy Davis, a high school track athlete, playwright and aspiring doctor. Third, Marva Collins who, dissatisfied with the Chicago school system, opened a prep school in her home for children ages 4-12. Finally, Ageliece Miller, Commissioner of the State of Illinois' Bureau of Employment Security, responsible for all unemployment payments in the state.
