Text: Instructions for each position of the dance, in 19 numbered paragraphs; wording almost identical with captions of plates in ed. of 1834.
Illustrations: 19 pen and ink sketches, closely resembling the figures of Gaetano Dura's lithographs in the same ed.
Bound in at end: "The Tarantella; a description of the dance from an old Neapolitan book" (reprint from the Dancing Times, London, Nov. 1922, p. 111-114, illus.), which describes a different ed. published in Naples by Gatti & Dura, 184-, also with lithographs by Dura but with French captions by L. Puccinelli (q.v.).
In pocket: 3 unidentified photographs of prints illustrating steps of the tarantella.
Binding of red leather, gilt and blind tooled, with arms of the kingdom of Naples on covers.
With bookplate of Cia Fornaroli.
