Catalog of U.S. Government Publications (CGP)

This is the tool for identifying U.S. government publications from all branches of government in all formats.  Mostly starting with 1976, the CGP will eventually encompass documents going back to the 19th century.  This is the authoritative source of cataloging for these publications and includes advanced search options.  It also provides links to online publications.  For publications before 1976 the printed Monthly Catalog of United States Government Publications should be consulted.
