The Road to the 1940 Census: In Search of Your Family History

Census records are the essential building blocks for family history research. On April 2, the National Archives will release the 1940 Census online. Just prior to the release, NYPL's Irma and Paul Milstein Division of United States History, Local History and Genealogy will offer a day-long program featuring leading genealogists and Census scholars to help you get the most from this free digital database.
