Share

Do you have a child in first or second grade? Do you want your child to develop a love of reading? Are you interested in having your child work with caring mentors?

Then come to the New York Public Library’s Literacy Leaders program!

About the Literacy Leaders Program

In this program, your child will be matched with a teen mentor who understands his or her individual needs. Together, they will work to build a love of reading and learning and will work on basic literacy skills.

The program meets after school Monday through Thursday.

The program runs from February—June and July—August. You can enroll your child in one or both of the sessions for two to four days per week.
