About St. George Library Center
The St. George Library Center of the New York Public Library is located in the St. George neighborhood a short walking distance from the Staten Island Ferry and Borough Hall. The library serves as a community hub for all ages, with an upper level Children’s Room, dedicated Teen Center, and Reference Room. In addition to housing a mixed-use community room, and over 60 publicly available desktop and laptop computers, the library is home to a Tech Connect computer lab, along with an Adult Learning Center that offers English classes for non-native speakers.
The Library is a committed partner to Staten Island’s North Shore communities and performs outreach for local schools, daycare centers, senior centers, and shelters.
