Inside SNFL's Renovation

Located at the site of the former Mid-Manhattan Library, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library (SNFL) is now a completely transformed, state-of-the-art library following a full-scale renovation, designed by architects Mecanoo and Beyer Blinder Belle, with generous support from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) and the City. New! Print Direct from Your Personal Device

Using our simple web portal, you can now select documents to print at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library (SNFL) directly from your personal device! The fee is $0.20 per page (black and white). Only paper provided by the Library can be used. Documents sent for printing will remain available for up to two hours after they have been sent.

About the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library (SNFL)

The New York Public Library’s largest circulating branch—the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library (SNFL)—is currently open for nearly full service following a full-scale renovation. Located at the site of the former Mid-Manhattan Library, the new, state-of-the-art library, designed by architect Francine Houben, of Mecanoo, with Beyer Blinder Belle, features services for all ages, thanks to a generous gift from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) and support by the City. The building has been designed and constructed to meet LEED standards, and is in the process of obtaining certification.
