About the Library
The Pelham Bay Branch of The New York Public Library opened in 1976 with the enthusiastic support of community leaders who fought to see it become a reality. The branch is a spacious brick building located on the corner of Middletown Road and Jarvis Avenue. It serves a large and diverse community in the Pelham Bay and Country Club sections of the Bronx.Learn more about this location Learn about capital construction projects at this location
