STEAM Discovery Kits
Build, code, and investigate with NYPL’s amazing STEAM Discovery Kits! Available to borrow from Jerome Park Library and select other branches across the Bronx, Manhattan, and Staten Island, these kits enable kids and tweens to explore robotics, circuitry, microbiology, engineering, coding, and more using exciting tools, toys, and books at home.
NYPL After School
Join us for NYPL After School, our free drop-in program for kids ages 6–12 that takes place after regular school hours, Monday to Thursday, when school is in session. Get homework help from one of our tutors or Teen Reading Ambassadors, plus reading recommendations, fun activities, and even snacks!

About the Library
The Jerome Park Branch of The New York Public Library is a spacious, stone-clad building located on Eames Place. The one-story facility opened in 1968, replacing a nearby storefront branch that began operation in 1957. The branch reopened its doors on May 3, 2007 after being closed for full renovations that provided more public space, three public restrooms, and the addition of a community room.
