New! Print Direct from Your Personal Device

Using our simple web portal, you can now select documents to print at the Bronx Library Center directly from your personal device! The fee is $0.20 per page (black and white). Only paper provided by the Library can be used. Documents sent for printing will remain available for up to two hours after they have been sent.

IDNYC
IDNYC is a free municipal ID card for all New Yorkers that not only provides government photo identification but can serve as a library card, get you free memberships to more than 30 cultural institutions, qualifies you for discounts at health and wellness centers, and a multitude of other benefits.The IDNYC enrollment offices at Bronx Library Center are by appointment. NYPL After School
Join us for NYPL After School, our free drop-in program for kids ages 6–12 that takes place after regular school hours, Monday to Thursday, when school is in session. Get homework help from one of our tutors or Teen Reading Ambassadors, plus reading recommendations, fun activities, and even snacks!

The Bronx Library Center is the largest public library in the Bronx, with extensive collections of print and non-print materials for adults, young adults, and children. It features New York Public Library’s premiere Latino and Puerto Rican Heritage Collection and was NYPL's first green library.
