Long Island City Partnership (LICP) is the neighborhood development organization for LIC. Our mission is to advocate for economic development that benefits the area’s industrial, commercial, science and technology, cultural, tourism, and residential sectors. The goal is to attract new businesses to LIC, retain those already here, engage residents and visitors, and promote a vibrant and authentic mixed-use community. LICP also operates the LIC Business Improvement District and LIC Industrial Business Zone (LIC IBZ), providing business services and assistance.
Services to businesses in the community include: hosting networking, educational, and community events; maintenance of capital improvements, daily sanitation, visitor attractions, and retail attraction; plus many more.
The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce is a community of businesses -- including startups, long-time neighborhood stores, mid-market firms and large companies -- that help one another succeed.

The National Association of Women Business Owners is the voice of more than 10 million women-owned businesses in the United States. Since 1975, NAWBO has helped women grow their businesses by sharing resources and providing a collective viewpoint to help shape economic and public policy. It is the only dues-based national organization representing the interests of all women entrepreneurs across all industries.
NMBC is a networking and referral organization for small women- and minority-owned businesses. It is dedicated to providing business assistance, educational opportunities, seminars, purchasing exchanges, mentoring, business listings, and related services to businesses throughout the tri-sate area and across the nation. Members are listed in a directory that is sent to corporate and government purchasing agents. NMBC also offers general technical assistance and networking events to its members. The Building Congress provides a unique forum to advance an industry-wide agenda focusing on economic and infrastructure investment, job creation, and professional exchange. These goals require the dedicated involvement and cooperation of the contractors, architects, engineers, unions, real estate managers, developers, and owners who comprise the building community.
On behalf of constituent organizations comprising skilled tradespeople and professionals, the Building Congress supports sound public policy, promotes productive capital spending, encourages public/private partnerships, and evaluates the implementation of major government projects.
To foster relationships and cooperation, the Building Congress sponsors consensus-building activities and encourages a free exchange of ideas among leaders of industry associations, businesses, and the public sector.
The New York State Restaurant Association [NYSRA] is a non-for-profit trade association working to promote, represent and educate the food service industy of New York State. NYSRA acts an an industry liaison with regulatory agencies that govern the commercial food service industry. NYSRA also acts as the "legislative watchdog" and is the official voice of the food service industry.
This mission positions NYSRA to promote the hospitality profession, while serving and representing its members and their customers through advocacy, innovation, and education.
The New York Women’s Chamber of Commerce (Women’s Chamber), established in 2002, is a not-for-profit charitable 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization dedicated to assisting women to achieve success and economic independence through business ownership and self-employment. NYWCC advocates for and actively works to create equal and fair business opportunities fostering an environment that nurtures the growth of women-owned businesses in the City and State of New York. We propel and support business success for our members through network building, educational resources, assistance with government contracting and advocacy.
Since its creation, the Women’s Chamber has provided business services and training to more than 20,000 individuals, assisted with the creation of more than 5,000 new businesses and aided entrepreneurs in accessing 35 Million in the capital and 45 Million in procurement contracts. The organization has also assisted more than 1,000 entrepreneurs in applying for minority certification through its Minority and Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) Center and its Women Microenterprise Institute.
The NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) APEX Accelerator (NYC SBS APEX Accelerator) offers one-on-one assistance and training to help businesses in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and Rockland, Suffolk, and Nassau counties that are interested in local, state, and federal government contracting.
Services include: Government Contracting, Navigating the System for Award Management (SAM), Certifications and Contracting Assistance Programs, Doing Business with General Services Administration (GSA), Contract Accounting, Identifying Prime and Subcontractor Opportunities, Responding to RFPs/Proposal Writing, Teaming Arrangements and Subcontracting.
