The Staten Island Small Business Development Center (SBDC) provides world class business expertise to the SME community by providing customized solutions through advisement, education, research and advocacy, the SBDC encourages start-up entrepreneurs and engages established businesses. The SBDC office covers the entire 11th Congressional District in Staten Island and South Brooklyn.

The SBDC is currently operating on a hybrid schedule with remote and in-person access.

The South Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation (SoBRO) is contracted by the NYC Department of Small Business Services to provide FREE services to Manufacturing, Construction, Transportation, Wholesale, Utility or Film Production businesses in The Bronx:

The Entrepreneur Assistance Center (EAC), provides training, technical assistance and business development resources to start-up and existing businesses. The goal is to assist budding entrepreneurs to establish businesses and assist small business owners to retain their business. The program provides classroom training in basic business and entrepreneurship principles as well as individual technical, financial and management assistance. SBIDC manages the Southwest Brooklyn Industrial Business Zone (IBZ) where they have supported local manufacturing and industrial businesses for over 40 years. St. Nicks Alliance's Workforce Development Center has helped thousands of North Brooklyn residents land and keep high-paying jobs in high-demand industries. We partner with major North Brooklyn employers. Each client is assigned to a job coach who guides them through assessment and training and helps them overcome any barriers to getting and keeping a job.

Our goal is to train and place all our clients into high-quality, full-time, permanent jobs that pay a living wage.
