The Tory Burch Foundation empowers women entrepreneurs by providing access to capital, education and community. Empowerment programs include education and training, both in person and online, access to financing, fellowship programs, and other productive initiatives. Trade Adjustment Assistance Center (TAAC) is a non-profit, regional center that provides federal funding assistance exclusively to New York, New Jersey and Puerto Rico manufacturing and service companies that have been impacted by foreign competition. TAAC services begin with confidential assessment and assistance with application —all at no cost.

For approved candidates, support continues with federal funded assistance to offset the cost of expert guidance, and strategies for business-enhancing projects. Assistance Programs are available for marketing and sales; manufacturing certification; financial general management; information technology; and engineering/product development.

TruFund's mission is to promote and foster economic development within underserved communities and among disadvantaged populations. TruFund offers afordable loan capital to small businesses and nonprofit organizations that are financially viable but have difficulty accessing capital from banks or other conventional lenders. Their products range along the continuum of credit from multi-million-dollar New Markets Tax Credits projects to small business loans for entrepreneurs.

The U.S. Commercial Service for New York is one of 100 offices around the United States offering trade expertise to assist with exporting and providing guidance and tips on how to grow your business and export successfully. The Service is part of a global network of experienced trade professionals in the United States - and in American embassies and Consulates - with resources, market information, and international buyer connections.

Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (VLA), is the leading legal aid and education organization dedicated to New York artists and its arts and cultural organizations. VLA strives to protect the artistic community’s livelihoods, businesses, and creative works through access to dedicated legal representation and focused education programs.

VLA provides legal services to the arts community in every discipline, including: acting, animation, architectural design, bookmaking, choreography, composition, computer design, costume design, craft and folk arts, dance, directing, fashion, film, graphic design, installation art, literary arts, modeling, multimedia, music, photography, playwriting, poetry, printmaking, screenwriting, songwriting, theater, three-dimensional design, video arts, video game design, visual arts, and web design.

WBEC Metro NY is a dynamic community of certified women-owned businesses, building on their success through mutually beneficial partnerships with Fortune 1000 corporations and other WBEs.

Furthering the success of women-owned businesses is WBEC's  primary mission. We provide WBENC certification at the regional level, and serve as an advocate for certified women-owned businesses inWBEC's New York and Washington, D.C. regions, offering them educational programs, networking opportunities and recognition.

The Women’s Venture Fund (WVF) is a nonprofit organization that helps women to establish thriving businesses in urban communities with funding and business development programs.

The Fund assists small businesses through a range of services including entrepreneurial training, technical assistance, advisory services, and small loans. The organization is a Certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI).
