Jennifer Zaslow

Vice President for Development

Jennifer Zaslow is Vice President for Development for The New York Public Library, where she leads the Campaign, Annual Fund, and Membership initiatives that support the Library’s world-renowned research facilities and its network of 87 neighborhood libraries.

Arriving at NYPL in late 2008, Zaslow brings more than 20 years of experience working on behalf of the great writers, artists, and cultural institutions of New York City. She has collaborated closely with trustees and volunteers to help institutions achieve their goals — from planning and executing capital campaigns, to building membership programs and creating corporate partnerships and special events.

Before joining the Library, Zaslow was Director of Development for New York City Opera at Lincoln Center. She also served as Director of Development for Manhattan Theatre Club, the nonprofit theater company. Earlier in her career she worked with noted literary and theatrical agent Gilbert Parker at the William Morris Agency.

A native of Philadelphia, Zaslow earned a BA with honors in English from Wesleyan University, going on to complete graduate studies in English literature at New York University. She has participated as a panelist and guest lecturer at conferences (Association of Fundraising Professionals and Opera America) and universities (theater management programs at Yale and Columbia universities).
