In-service Workshops

NYPL Teaching & Learning staff are available to collaborate with administrators, school library media personnel, or school instructional staff to create workshops around primary sources, digital tools, research and literacy supports that meet your teaching needs. To arrange a workshop at a Library site or at your school,
e-mail: schoolvisits@nypl.org or call 917-275-6975(917-ASK-NYPL).

Educator Events

The Library hosts many special events, workshops, seminars and insitutes for school-based librarians, teachers and school administrators. See below for information on these and on our summer NYC DOE P-credit course. Also check the The Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers pages about special offerings for educators held through the Center in the summer and throughout the year.

The New York Public Library thanks The Carroll and Milton Petrie Foundation for their generous support of Teaching and Learning Programs at NYPL.
