Bookmaking Workshop with Esther K Smith
Come and make a simple book with Esther K Smith--and see the Purgatory Pie Press exhibit at Hudson Park Library Gallery. Learn to fold, pop, and maybe even stitch a book to write in, draw in, collage, and rubber-stamp. Your book will fold flat, so you can put it in an envelope and mail it —as a simple gift — or a complicated holiday card.
Esther and Dikko Faust will be signing and numbering new limited editions and will have copies of some of the artist books on display, as well as some that did not fit in the cases. Plus, Esther will be signing copies of her Random House and Rizzoli art books.
