Join us for an informal introductory session to learn about common sources utilized in biography research, how to find these materials within the New York Public Library’s vast collections, and specialized research strategies that you can use for historical research, writing projects, and more. Please note: this class will not provide in-depth coverage of archival research and will focus on using formats in our general research collections.
For researchers interested in archival research: it is encouraged and recommended that you attend the Getting Started in Archives class from 12pm to 1pm prior to this class. To register for an orientation to NYPL's archives, click here.
