An introduction to bonds and bond terminology, including coupon, yield, yield to maturity, basis points, bond ratings, and collateral. Learn about different types of bonds, including Treasuries, Corporates, and Municipals. Join Prof. Sris Chatterjee, Gabelli Chair in Global Security Analysis at Fordham University, as he explains the relationship between bond prices and interest rates and the important risks one should consider when purchasing bonds.

About The Presenter:

Professor Sris Chatterjee

Professor Sris Chatterjee is the Gabelli Chair in Global Security Analysis at Fordham University. Professor Chatterjee has taught a variety of courses, including Mergers and Acquisitions, Principles of Modern Finance and Behavioral Finance, at the undergraduate, graduate and executive MBA levels. In 1995, he received Fordham’s Gladys and Henry Crown Award for Faculty Excellence at the graduate school.
